Snail mail and Paper trails - Go Digital!

One of my favorite things to shop for is random junk with a snarky edge to it. Fred & Friends Worldwide is a company that creates extremely unique and clever products. The copy alone involved with these products is enough to make you want to spend.

The copy shows the cheekiness of the product selection and opens up a new field that copywriters are finding themselves getting into. Web-copy is a whole new animal. Being that Fred and Friends is a retailer, their writers get a chance to do something old in a new way. Their catalogs are digital and digital only.

Check out the new way to do things. The catalog is over sixty some odd pages, but it doesn't skip on design, layout, or copy. Digital isn't killing the business it's just changing the game. Even their new products can share in the optical
splendor with their new digital product brochures.

Let Fred challenge you to step your game up Ad and Graphic kids. Adapt to the 21st century.

Wear's your design?

So i got a strategic link on Facebook seeing as how the cookies they "plant" have everything to do with what's in your profile.

This one had to do with a T-shirt design company that lets you submit your own designs and they print and sell them for you. Some of the designs are really sick. This magic place is called Threadless - It's pretty much a designers playground with all kinds of merch options. From wall graphics to tees you can do whatever you want. They have their own blog and they are on twitter. Check out their stuff:

They range from graphic tees

this one done by Draco (who's an amazing artist all his own)

They also carry clever text tees

I don't know about you guys, but I love stuff like this and the opportunity to be part of the threadless community is pretty sweet.

Nerd Apparel!

Hey guys!

I found this photo and random link at http://design-milk.com/

However, the pillows can be purchased at http://www.mysuitestuff.com/shop.html

I know all of us have very eclectic taste and love to nerd out every now and again. This is a perfect testament that we are not alone in our strangeness. If having a sofa with Flash pillows doesn't make you smile, then get with the program.
